1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Oxford BMI, developed and published by ninko.dev, handles information when you use the app.

Short version: Oxford BMI works offline. BMI inputs and history are stored only on your device. The app does not use an account system, does not upload your height, weight, BMI results, or history to a server, and does not operate its own backend. The app uses Google AdMob to display ads.

2. Local Data

Oxford BMI processes body-related values only on your device. This can include:

These values are used to calculate and display your BMI and to make the app useful across sessions. They are stored locally on your device and are not sent to ninko.dev or to an Oxford BMI backend.

3. Advertising with Google AdMob

Oxford BMI uses Google AdMob to display ads inside the app. Google and its advertising partners process data such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, app interactions, ad views, and ad clicks to deliver, limit, personalize, and measure ads.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Oxford BMI requests consent through a Google-certified consent management platform where required before using personal data for personalized advertising or accessing local storage for advertising purposes. You can manage or withdraw your ad consent in the app.

If you do not consent to personalized ads, you can still see contextual or non-personalized ads where legally permitted. Google processes limited data needed for security, fraud prevention, frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting, and ad delivery.

4. Storage & Deletion

Oxford BMI does not maintain a server database for your BMI data. Height, weight, results, history, and app preferences remain on your device.

You can delete this local data by using any in-app deletion option where available, clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstalling the app.

5. Your Rights

Because Oxford BMI does not receive or store your BMI inputs or history on a server, ninko.dev cannot access, export, correct, or delete those local values for you. You control them directly on your device.

For data processed by Google AdMob, Google provides information and controls in its own privacy and advertising settings. For privacy questions about Oxford BMI, contact us below.

6. Changes

We update this Privacy Policy when Oxford BMI changes, when providers change, or when legal requirements change. The latest version is available on this page.
